God is a wonderful provider. Chris is still unemployed, and we have been blessed by good food. People have shared their abundance from their gardens, and God provided a huge Pear tree in our yard. We have collected over 200 so far.

Today we made pear sauce, and I cooked some pears for Pear Cobbler. Enough for all of us...10 jars total. I will get back to cooking in the morning.

Hey ... sorry we missed you! Did you get my cell phone message? I called before we got to your town, but you were in Cullman! Then, we never heard back from you by the time we drove up I-65 past Cullman. I know you were probably as busy as we were, but it would have been nice to see you! Hope all is well! Blessings~
