Texas Friends Part One

I went for my fun week away to Fort Worth. Amy's Parents were gracious enough to fly me out for a week. Amy and I had a blast and was kind enough to help arrange time for me to visit with just about everyone. So here are a few photos of me and my friends. Since I maxed out the blog for tonight, I will add more tomorrow.
Nancy Zirbas (Wedgwood's Women's Ministry Director, and friend)

Jessica Nichols (my darling angel of a neighbor who has babysat, cleaned and cried with me), along with her new niece Zoe.

Casey Nichols and Baby Zoe. For those of you who haven't read Dan and Caseys blog. Their story of life, death, grief, hope and blessing will inspire you and challenge you. See their link on the left.

This was a really special time for me as I had prayed for this friend (whom I had met briefly once) and to see the miracle of her new daughter. I couldn't control my tears of joy when I got to put my hands on Casey and just hug her!

The fun little pedicure. I had previously had a not so pleasent expirence having a pedicure. Mama Gayle and Amy were convinced they could woo me to the pedicure lovin' side. So before I moved we went for this really relaxing pedicure which helped the stress of moving, packing and good-byes melt away. so they won me over. So we just had to go again when we were all together.

All of us outside the scrapbook store. It feels glorious when you walk in. Paper, stickers, rub-ons, paper, eyelets, glue, ribbon, flowers, cricut supplies, oh the glory of the scrapbook store. We cropped for 2 days straight and had a blast!! I will miss scrapbooking with them!!

Amy and tonya working on their Disney Albumns. I took some notes of their techniques and tried some new things myself. Now if only I had one of theose cricuts to play with!!
