Spring Arbor Baptist Church
We have spoken at this church before. This church has a special place in our heart. This is the Church that my parents help build several years ago, and later they helped build my parents home, and now my parents are members of this church. We feel like we have known these folks for a long time. We picked up one new supporter today, and we loved giving them the break down of our plans for the summer.

Mommy notes
The girls and I went out running errands tonight. Here is a little bit of the conversation on the way home:
Juila is in Green, Abigail in Red, and I am in Blue.
"I can't wait to be a Mother." "Why Julia?" "Cause I can go to the Vera Bradley store and buy something not just try it on. I can have 100 children and I can stop at a store and get a treat for my kids." "Me too Mommy. I already know my job, and I am gonna be like a policeman. But I can only have 2 kids..a boy and a girl. And if I am not a policeman I might want to work at the library cause I love books. I can only have 2 kids and they have to be a boy and girl so they wont have to share a bed." "Wow, Abigail a policeman? That's good. Do you not like sharing a bed with Julia?" "Oh Mother, my kids are gonna sleep on those bunk beds (trundle beds) in my room like on Little House on the prairie, My husband will have to buy a big bed for us since we are gonna have a 100 children. And I am gonna be Doctor." Wow Julia, why do you want to be a Doctor?" "You know you told us how to hold the screwdriver and ice thing (icepick), and how if you fall on it and it punches a hole in your body not to pull it out? Well, I am going to help people pull it out." "Very Interesting." "Abigail, what if God gave you twin girls would that be okay?" "Yeah, but I would get them a big bed to share." "Well, I guess when we move to the new house you girls want your own bed?" "YEAHHHH". "Can you have 100 babies at one time? Is there a name for twins by 100 babies?" "I don't think you can have 100 babies at one time, Julia. I don't think there would be room in the womb for that." "Oh, Okay."
They went on to talk about their houses and where they would be and they hoped their husbands won't make them move too far from each or David & Caleb. It was very bittersweet.
Updates, News, and Not-So-News
We have been so busy, it is hard for me to update the blog. Let me tell you that we made over $1000 at our yard sale. Many thanks to Charles, Judy, Ashley, and Amy. We couldn't have done it without their help. We also had lots of donations from the school and some volunteers who gave of their time and resources to help us.
We move in 5 weeks, and have to pack a lot more stuff. Good times...they are a comin'!
We have also been preparing for our summer trip. We now have all our supplies and have made a practice run in packing the van. It can be hard to pack a minivan for 6 people for 4 months, but my husband is a great packer! The turtle shell helped too!
David's big DOUBLE DIGIT birthday is this weekend. I am misty eyed! This will be a fun football party!
More churches are confirming our speaking locations and we are getting more and more excited!!

Chris has been SUPER busy.
Chris has been SUPER busy. He is placing calls to all our contacts, and lining up our summer trip. Some of you have even shared names of your friends to add to our list. We got our tent, and it is big enough for all of us and our stuff. Wonderful! We are getting more and more excited, and have started getting stuff together for our BIG yard sale. We are looking forward to enjoying our last 10 weeks here in Alabama. So I plan to spend my days packing, and enjoying my family! WE are getting more and more excited to go. Chris is writing our newsletter tonight. I will give him the pictures tomorrow and off it goes to printing. So look for it in the mail soon.

Plans, Plans, & more Crazy Plans!!!
We are making plans! We have rearranged our house, to make rooms for the plans. We have converted our den into the packing and yard sale area. Our bedroom now has a section for the summer trip. Chris has been busy making phone calls and writing letters to meet with both people in town and the people we plan to visit this summer. I have been busy mailing packages, making our lists of stuff we need, ordering Cadence polos, homeschooling, researching camp grounds, and trying to follow any and all leads of people who want to know about Cadence. God is really exciting us. I just can't help it. Knowing that we are heading into the next step is not scary but so thrilling! To be exactly where God wants us to be is Thrilling. I want to just shout out my excitement.
