I love this picture because it is very rare that I get a picture of Me and Chris together. This picture was made at our Sunday School picnic. I love the look on our faces. It is pure happiness. After being married to Chris for 12 years (we just had our anniversary May 31st), I am more in love with him than before. Just this past week, he was a great defender. I have an amazing husband, and I love serving beside him in ministry. I am so thankful God brought us together!

My Baby turns NINE!
I can't believe that 9 years ago today.......
Chris, My Mom, and My self got up at 5:am and headed to the hospital. My mom snuck off to the Golden Doughnuts. I got prepped for a long day of delivering a baby boy. It was a long day! I read the Boxcar children, and waited on the Labor to progress. And once it did, Wow! Well, let's just say David had a little trouble getting his head out, so we had an emergency c-section. But I still remember seeing his face for the first time, and telling Chris "He looks just like my brother." I never knew all the love I could have for something that weighed a few pounds. I was instantly thrilled to be his mommy. He had jaundice, and I was scared to death. He was so tiny, and now he was ours. He grew and grew. He decided one day to walk, and walked and walked. One night when he was around 2 Stephanie Chadwick bought me the book "I love you Forever". I read this to David a lot. It is now our secret book (He is too cool to be seen reading this book with his mommy). He loves for me to tell it to him in his ear at bedtime! David has opened my eyes to adventure, buzz and woody, steve irwin, pretend-play, dramas, movie making, history, and what it means to be a boy of honor. He is a delight and a joy. Our lives are richer because he is in them. He is an excellent brother, a great protector, and our son. We are proud of him. He is looking forward to pocket knives, camping and surviving, and reading up on his
boating license (2011). I don't know what his future holds, but I know he walks with the Lord. I know he doesn't always get it right, but none of us do. I don't know what he will be when he grows up, but he will always be OURS!

Now....
For some reason, I am having trouble putting my text on the posts below. So I will update you on life around our house!! Chris has picked up a temporary part time job with the US Census Bureau. The boys have been visiting up at Veritas to see if they would like to go to school there next year. The girls and I have been keeping a little girl here at the house a few days a week. I have been helping out at the flower shop when I can during Prom season.
The pictures you see below are of the kids at the Barnes and Noble. I had heard about this, and thought it would be fun since it was so chilly outside. I really expected about 40 kids to be there. But it wasn't crowded at all...9 kids, and that counts my 4! So they had a blast hunting 32 eggs a piece all over the store.
We dyed our eggs later in the day. I planned ahead much better this time. I boiled 30 eggs this year. Everyone had lots of eggs, and I bought extra dye too. So that was fun and exciting.
Sunday morning we let the kids have their baskets. They were all color coded this year, and there was a HUGE chocolate bunny in each one. We went to church and had a great service. It was wonderful to celebrate our risen King! After church we went to the cabin and enjoyed our family. Fishing, hunting eggs, boat riding, eating, and just catching up with each other!
